Ice Cream with Nana

My mom is a fabulous cook and I love that she gets her kids and grandkids involved in the kitchen. One night, she had Cole help her make homemade ice cream. He really loves to be involved and to be a helper. Thanks Nana!

Our trip "back east"...

On May 7th, we crossed the country (by plane of course!) to join our families for a fun visit. The trip was kicked off with a great party to celebrate Jesse's Grandaddy's 80th birthday. Not only was it a birthday party, but a mini family reunion. All the kids and grandkids and great grandkids were all able to attend... pretty amazing since many of us are scattered across the country! We had such a great time and were so thankful that we were able to be a part of the festivities!

Each of the daughters had the chance to dance with their dad... so special!

There was lots of food and dancing! Fun!

Touch a Truck

A local preschool had a "touch a truck" event this morning. There were all sorts of emergency, construction, and recreational vehicles that the kids could sit in and climb all over. It was a 2 year old boy's dream!
